Japanese Paper and Resin Earrings with Moonstone Dangles
Ready to ship!
The earrings seen in photographs, are exact or very similar to the pair you will receive.
These earrings are made from scraps of a beautiful hand silk screened Japanese Chiyogami paper.
I buy large sheets of this paper from Japan, to collage on the frames of my original paintings. I love being able to use the left over pieces, for my jewelry.
After the paper is cut to size of bezels, it is glued and then protected by a hand poured jewelry resin. The resin brings out the incredible gold silk screened details of the paper, and has a glossy look.
The jewelry bezels are pewter cast sterling silver plated. The 20 gauge earring wire, is for sensitive ears and is solid sterling silver.
