These Barn Owl earrings feature miniature archival prints of my original art work.

The Barn Owl has been associated with mysticism and after life symbolism through the ages in various cultures. Perhaps because of nocturnal habits or their white plumage, it is not difficult to believe they could be guardians that hold secrets and wisdom.

After the artwork is cut to size of bezels, it is glued and then protected by a hand poured jewelry resin. The resin brings out the details of the painting and has a glossy look. Though they are waterproof, remove before bathing or swimming for long lasting wear.

Jewelry bezels are bronze and medium weight. The 20 gauge earring wires are hypo allergenic niobium. This metal is skin friendly, safe for sensitive ears and lead and nickel free.

All items from my studio are sent gift ready, in a jewelry box with ribbon and a small illustrated greeting card is included. I am happy to write a personal note, if it is being sent directly to recipient.

All packages are sent in eco friendly envelopes, made from recycled paper. This studio gives back to nature by donating to the Sierra Club, founded by John Muir.
